PET Scan

Almost forgot to report on the results of last week's PET scan. One more instance of cancer showed up in one lung. So for those of you keeping score at home, that's lung, liver, and possibly two spots in the pelvis.

Doc says the tumors are all small enough that he believe the chemo alone may prove successful in shrinking them. Then perhaps some radiation afterward to boot. He continues to be optimistic in the short term and less certain on the long term. But then...aren't we all?
